Does Novawell only work with trauma and addiction?No. Here at Novawell we work with all kinds of presenting issues - trauma and addictions is just our specialty.
When will in-person options be available?We are working on it! As our team grows in-person options will be on the way. As for now - we are projecting around 1 year.
Do you offer direct billing?While direct billing is not currently available, a receipt will be provided following each session that you may submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
Will Novawell be covered under my insurance?Most likely! it depends on if your insurance covers psychotherapy. Our team currently consists of psychotherapists therefore we are only covered under psychotherapy - not psychology or social work.
Do you offer virtual therapy across OntarioYes. As a virtual practice, Novawell Therapy provides online therapy to residents across Ontario.
How long are therapy sessions, and how long until I start to see results?Therapy sessions are typically 50 minutes long - most people tend to begin to see some change at around the 8 session mark.
