C-PTSD Therapy

Complex PTSD often develops after prolonged experiences of emotional pain, instability, neglect, abuse, or relationships where you never truly felt safe. Instead of one traumatic event, it can come from living in survival mode for months or years — learning to suppress your needs, stay hyperaware of others, or carry a deep sense of shame, fear, or emptiness long after the danger has passed. You may struggle with emotional overwhelm, difficulty trusting others, people-pleasing, chronic self-criticism, dissociation, or feeling disconnected from who you are beneath it all.

Therapy for C-PTSD is not about “just moving on” from the past. It’s about gently helping your nervous system learn that safety, rest, connection, and self-worth are possible again. Using approaches such as EMDR, trauma-informed CBT, grounding techniques, and attachment-focused therapy, we work together at a pace that feels safe and supportive for you. Healing from complex trauma takes compassion, patience, and care — but it is possible to begin feeling more present, emotionally regulated, and connected to yourself and your life again.
